Jazz pianist/vocalist/radio host Judy Carmichael explores how jazz inspires the creativity of celebrated artists on her Public Radio Show “Jazz Inspired”.  Judy often records the show on stage and in March 2015  “Jazz Inspired” will be in gorgeous Kiawah Island for 3 days of interviews and performances.

Monday, March 2, 3:30pm - Eric Schneider

Judy will interview and perform with the Chicago saxophonist and discuss his long associations with Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald and Tony Bennett. Judy’s trio will join in.

Tuesday, March 3, 3:30pm - Dick Hyman

Judy and Dick will discuss his long career working with everyone from the NBC orchestra to his film composing for Woody Allen and others. Dick will play and Judy will join in on vocals.

Wednesday, March 4, 7:30pm - Judy Carmichael Trio

Judy Carmichael Trio will perform in concert.  A cocktail reception will be held before in the lobby at 6:30pm.

Kiawah Island is a 10,000 acres, residential-resort community 21 miles south of historic Charleston, SC.  Kiawah Island has 5 golf course, including River Course, which is hosting Jazz Inspired from Kiawah Island, SC and Ocean Course, the site of the 1991 Ryder Cup and the 2012 PGA Championship.  Tennis, water fun and wildlife adventures abound.
